Elaboration

The soil
Our vineyards are located in several towns in the Marina Alta, in the province of Alicante. Mainly in the towns of Jávea, Teulada and Benitachell. Our region is located on the Costa Blanca, completely surrounded by the sea, so its influence is very noticeable in our wines. The landscape is very steep, something that our ancestors solved by shaping the territory. Dry stone walls formed terraces that were later used for different crops such as vines. It is very important to highlight the different orientations that exist between our fields.
As for the soils, we can also observe great differences, from almost totally sandy soils to clay and gravel soils on the slopes of the Montgó Natural Park in Jávea.

The plant
We practice ecological and sustainable agriculture, contributing to avoid the imminent climate change.
We work with the queen grape, the Muscat of Alexandria, a variety suitable for multiple elaborations. Whether it is consumed as fresh fruit, dehydrated or in alcoholic preparations.
The average age of our Muscatel vines is over 30 years old, although we carry out new plantings to preserve our local clones. It is a rustic vine resistant to drought, which feeds on the sea breeze, providing it with the necessary humidity in the warmer months to grow.
As for our red wine, we try to recover old vineyards by selecting autochthonous varieties and incorporating grapes from our new plantations.

The Wine
We would like you to remember Recordare, that’s the name of the wines.
Recordare white is a single varietal Moscatel de Alejandría wine. It has an intense, bright and warm colour. The nose is an explosion of Muscat, banana, honey, citrus and Mediterranean herbs. It is very fresh in the mouth, with a saline and dry touch.
Recordare tinto is a blend of local varieties and others introduced later. It has a very bright and lively colour, with fruity aromas on the nose with slight hints of oak.

About Us
We are a family-run micro-bodega committed to preserving the traditions of our people.
Wines

Recordare white. Accompany it with salted fish, fatty, blue or cured cheeses and of course always with typical local dishes; rice, fideuá, artichokes, etc. And of course with sweets. And of course with sweets. Shall we go to another cuisine? Perfect, it is ideal for sushi and spicy dishes.
